Model/Floor Plan

An architectural design based upon a site located in Maui Hawaii. Intended as a single person "hut" I designed it for optimal solo living. The tower is inspired by Moroccan wind towers in order to create flow through the building from the ocean breeze. This would reduce the need for air conditioning and is reminiscent of more traditional architecture. I attempted to blend modernity with a primitive and simple geometrical build.

Castlewood Canyon State Park Model

Three other students and I were commissioned by Colorado State Parks and Wildlife to create a model of the new educational center at Castlewood Canyon in order to raise awareness and funding for its construction.

My role in this team was to ensure that all laser cut wood sections were accurate to the measurements of the original design and to paint the details on the model.
